So Minge, when you said this in another post, does this now mean we're all to be given some "holidays" from AFF? :

Holiday Greetings to Everyone

I wanted to send some sort of holiday greeting to my friends, but it is
so difficult in today's world to know exactly what to say without
offending someone. So I met with my attorney yesterday, and on his
advice I wish to say the following:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes
for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low stress,
nonaddictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter/summer solstice
holiday, practiced with the most enjoyable traditions of religious
persuasion or secular practices of your choice with respect for the
religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their
choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all.

I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and
medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally
accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the
calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society
have helped make our country great (not to imply that it is necessarily
greater than any other country) and without regard to the race, creed,
colour, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of
the wishee.

By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms:

This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely
transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no
promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for
her/himself or others and is void where prohibited by law, and is
revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted
to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for
a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday
greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement
of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the
wisher.

Disclaimer: No trees were harmed in the sending of this message;
however, a significant number of electrons were slightly inconvenienced.

Merry Xmas you lot!

Be safe and I hope to see you all back here in 2007.

Hi everyone. I hope that all the Admin and the Moderators of this site have a great Christmas and New Years. You have all worked really hard this year it seems, against the tide of particularly difficult and troublesome members! Myself included! So thanks so much for your hard work, ALL through the year. Special thanks to Jeff and Nicole (mr and mrs xacoupe) for organising the Heathcote drag racing events this year (and other years) they were great and I will always rememeber them!

Thanks to all of our friends on here who have supported us all year, even when things were going badly and also when things were good. You all know who you are! I hope! Some of you are in SA and some in other states, but all of you are fantastic and we thank you for being such good mates.

I think this year Eamon and myself have seen the best and the worst of things. Toby was born in April and he is a most excellent baby. He loves his cars, Fords, driving and he is just an all round great kid. We wouldnt have him if Eamon and I had not met on the original Ford Forums which gave birth to this place!

But then, as some of you may know, Eamon had a nasty accident versus a pole last weekend and ended up in hospital with his XR8 totally written off. While he is fine now, there have been consequences and it is surely going to make Christmas interesting! However, it has given us a new perspective on things because he is very lucky to be alive and we are really appreciating how precious life is!

This Christmas will be special to us because a) it is Toby's first Christmas and also b) because we really have reason to feel lucky this year.

The reason I mention Eamon's accident is so that I can stress to everyone to have a safe Christmas and New Years break, to really take the care to drive safely and be sensible with speeding, drinking, recklessness, driving while very tired and anything else which may increase your chances of crashing. PLEASE all be safe on the roads - not just because of demerit points and fines, but because your lives are worth too much to those around you, dont risk it just because you may be late for something or just feel like being silly.

So to everyone, we hope that you have a fun Christmas and New Years with your families and that you all really enjoy the time you spend with people you love. And please be safe.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
Jac, Eamon, Caitlin, Cameron and Toby!
