Default Warranty

Was thinking of getting some mods for my 06 BF XR6 N/A.

Maybe the Typhoon CAI & new exhaust system.

Will these kind of mods stuff my warranty.

It will void the warranty on your exhaust ... and your intake ... hee hee.
it depends on the dealer ... keep the factory intake ... and when warranty work is needed ... put the stock one back on.

Exhaust systems shouldn't void warranty to the engine.

Most dealers tend to frown on mods & warranty. I have F6 CAI set up (to tell you the truth I dont think they even realise). When I asked the assistant service manager about doing to my car. He said is it a turbo I said NO. He said dont do it & it want run properly to much CAI to big etc (what a load of crap none of that is true by the way & car runs perfect)

As for exhaust id assume that your engine wouldnt be covered & possibly trans) But im assuming the would have to prove exhaust caused the damage im no expert though.

I was told some are approved and some aren't. Eg. JMM are approved but Herrod had theirs removed. This was a while ago.
