Also should'v mentioned. IMHO i dont see the benefit in spending close to 3x the amount for slotted (depending on brand) i think the benefits are not great. When im due for new rotors ill be going back to stock rotors, i think theyr roughly $55 each, i dont think slotted rotors last any longer & im quite sure slotted rotors wont out brake standard rotors unless the size is changed & we'r talking about V8 supercars etc, but for an Ef Falcon i will be going for standard after havin a taste of slotted.

There is a list of advantages to slotted but i dont think the price is worthwhile even if you were rich.

just a thought... do your pads wear quicker with slotter or drilled rotors? I no they would be cooler but i would assume those extra edges would wear the pads quicker...???

I got my slots for the BA from http://www.vpw.com.au/productgroup.a...7&PrdGrpID=971 Including freight to Canberra from Melbourne, they were the cheapest I could find. Very happy with them....

I was going to suggest VPW.

I ran slotted rotors in my 65 pontiac.....it used to get shocking brake fade with standard rotors pulling up the 2 tonne tank....with the slotted rotors I never got fade again....Even my Skyline.....the slotteds never fade and pad wear does not seem to have increased at all.

When it coes time to stick brakes on the EB, I am definately fitting slotted rotors front and rear.
