Question oil for high milage engine?

I was wondering if i could get some advice on what oil does anyone recommend for a high milage engine, i have an EB 2 4.0 with well over 430.000kms on the clock and i was thinking of running it on Mobil 1 (so far i run her on Shell Helix Plus) Am i just wasting my money with the expensive oil? I want reliability and longer lengths between oil changes instead of every 5000kms change it at 10.000kms.

Any ideas?

Thanks Rexy74
