Default whats a good price for a lsd

gday all

i have found a ef xr6 3.45 lsd for $450.00 is this a good price or should i keep looking

help would be appreciated

That's a fairly good price, usually they go for around $500 to $600+

I reckon a really good price would be $20. Although relative to what they usually fetch I guess $450 is a good price also.

a friend of mine told me u get a diff rebuilt for $600 to a ss or lsd and whatever gear ratio, but i don't know if thats because he knows someone.

jjm...... i dont know how many ks are on it but it comes with a warranty for 6 months

Baya.....i got quoted 700 for a full reco lsd centre only the diff im looking at is disc to disc

tuffed... the guy that has it told me that it was very tight when pulled out of the car and no noises

Jas that is a brilliant price considering a friend was looking for one up this way a few weeks back and the wreckers had one for $600 with a 30day warranty....

So if your getting a 6mth warranty and paying $450, jump up, grab it and be happy as... :

Or if you don't want it I am sure there is quite a few other forum members that would gladly go buy it instead..
Oh there's a thought.. now, where is the thing being sold at????

i got mine for $100 delivered...

3.23 LSD out of a 6 cyl fairlane.. 28 spline.. i was rapt..

then swapped centres to my current diff to so i didnt have to change tailshaft and i could keep my 3.7s..

well as of tonight im still in the market for a lsd i went to pay for it and it was sold at 12today so i guess thats what happens when you procastonate over it

i was considering getting a 3.45 lsd but then found out i got a 3.23 already i didnt think it would make much difference.
