Default Ratter - Pushes the record

Ratter threw the record a little further out of reach of the 13 sec brigade tonight with a 12.50 at 110.

Good to see the bosses rocking the suburbs.........

ALSO - point of note - there was a black manual pursuit running 13.3's all night, never met the guy before, but i tip my lid to him, top job and drove like a trooper.

Craig from Aussie car had a banger too, reeling off a few 13.3's in a Taxi 3valve that I haven't seen before ever, amazing stuff. :monkes:

Thanks very much guys, I'm still impressed with the results this car has got, as it was built to be a nice car to drive, not a drag racer.

It's had 18 passes and all have been in the twelves.

The nine runs last night are as follows
6.17 pm 12.663 @108.29
6.24 pm 12.746 @108.13
6.32 pm 12.833 @108.01
6.42 pm 12.850 @108.74
6.47 pm 12.738 @109.07
8.12 pm 12.596 @110.10
8.29 pm 12.722 @109.46
9.58 pm 12.508 @111.04 my pb and New unopened boss ford record
10.21 pm 12.594 @110.83

Once again thanks go to Chris for his tuning abilities and helpful advice

Good stuff. Is yours a sedan or ute Ratter? BOSS 290, obviously an FPV...

EDIT: Just read on another thread that you drive a pursuit.

Yes it has one of Chris's baby stallies in it, did not want to go too big as I use the car everyday and want to keep it driving nice.

Good result there ratter, does this mean we dont consider Chris re-phasing the cams as unopened?

: WTF

My cams have not been touched, the only gasket that has been touched on my motor is the throttle body gasket when the TB was replaced.

My mistake, let me clarify I thought Chris holds the record for the quickest NA Unopened BOSS at 12.2 or around there with rephased cams. So wouldnt he still hold the record? If not is it because the cams have been adjusted etc..

I thought you meant mine were done.

I personnaly would have still counted Chris's cam rephasing as unopened, but Chris was the first to admit what he had done and said it was opened, he has nothing to hide.
Chris was the first to congratulate me on the new record, I'll assume he knows what his records are.

I think the quickest Chris ran with the 260 was 11.9 @117 mph, I'm sure he can clear that up.

No harm intended ratter, we need as many BOSSs in the 12s as we can get so we can take the challenge upto these LS1 boys...

The only argument I would have with that is,.............. we need some 11 second Boss's to match or show up some of the LS1's
