Wink Top Photo Spots For Your Car

If you know of any very cool spots for photo shooting your beast, post it here. I'm sure the Goodz would know, but haven't seen him on here for a while.

So just state the location area and what it looks onto as background for the car.

Examples would be good too.

cheers

I like "One Tree Hill" in Ararat. Looks out across a massive plain as far as the eye can see (50-60km? Definately at least 40km), or if you prefer, 15km of plains and then the grampians as a backdrop... I'll get some better pictures there one day, the ones i got were poor because i was in a rush...

Lysterfield was a great location. One small detail tho, the area we took shots last time is actually a fenced off area. We hadto pull a metal stump outta the ground to get the cars in there Nobody seemed to mind tho, just hopefuly the ranger doesn't have a hissy fit if he see's us there...

So far we've got...

- Great Ocean Road
- Mt Dandenong
- Lysterfield Lake
- Melbourne City Lights/Dock Area
- Ararat "One Tree Hill"

Any cool industrial areas or other settings? Beach rd area would be good with Palm trees and that.

Most boat ramps are good, because you can get the water and sand into the image. Ive taken photos at lilydale lake also, theres some nice spots around there.

Docklands wharf area is great for photos! Last night went and took some great shots with AdzELXR8 and they got better as the night went on.

We found an open gate and got right out onto the wharf! Very smooth :

Photos up soon.

Keep the Locations coming.

I found a nice little park at Yarra Glen. I got some really nice shots of my car. I see that Mt Dandenong has been suggested, but I can't think of any good photo opportunities along there.

Lysterfield was good. I have it as my desktop @ work!!

I am still looking for locations.
One is Arthers Seat park.
Most good area's don't hold alot of cars, 6 max, this makes it hard.

I'll keep looking.

Sugarloaf Dam was a nice spot on last years cruise, it would be good if you could get your car on the grass infront of the dam. Would make for a nice picture. We should have another day cruise like that again soon, i love a nice relaxed day cruise.
