Default Mixed opinions about Chiptorque HP4

Hey boyz, Today i finally got the chip i had been planning to get for 3 years. Went down the coast and saw the boys and they programmed it and fitted it to my car. Went for a 2 hour drive with various driving conditions like matt had said. Car definately drove alot better. Didnt seem as rough on the throttle as it used to be. Thing i noticed tho was that the power seemed to come and go. One launch would be absolute SH@#T and the next would power off with heaps of wheel spin! from bout 2200-3500 is great! just inconsistant at this time. Is this a normal effect that will smooth out over time? or could there be a problem with my dizzy/TFI as i suspected earlier? People with HP4 please give me some opinions!
Thanks,

Brent

Dan, does the chip effect the ECU codes at all? If i run a diag will it show me true faults still? I reckon its the dizzy. They couldnt check base timing coz of the balancer or something. Hmmm
