understandable if it looked like an aussie falcon, but to have victorian numberplates on it also, is a different story...lol

In Hungary a couple of Months ago and there is abandanded Serrias every where. some of them in good nick and even some s/wagons, lots of euro escorts with v6's and hairdriers on them, The Mundaio looks exactly like a Falcon over there but they havd the 2.5TDI transit engine in them and we went on the freeway in one at 230klm and there was plenty more to go. even the Dash is the same as the BA.

ive seen a left hand drive black ED Fairmont ghia V8 in a holding yard in sydney when i was there a few years ago...... has new york plates on it too

looked pretty tatty, bits hanging off etc, so i'd presume it had been bought back here for a freshen up....

Perhaps we need an E-Series World Registry to keep track of their movements? :P

Maybe your mate was drunk and he thought he was in Malta but was really in Melbourne?

ANd even if he did take a pic, with vic plates, it would be hard to prove that it really was in malta unless he took it in front of some maltese point of interest..... hmm

But I cant think of any landmarks in malta anyway.... Gallipoli? nah, Thats turkey isnt it..

lol at Stevo.

Good to see E-series around the world.

I was tempted to take the LTD to england a few years ago, but the petrol is way to expencive and roads too small.

Bloke i used to work with in sydney, he used to fill a container full of cheap 2nd hand falcons/gemini's etc and sell them through his brother in Fiji. Taxis were the main buyers for them.

Could be possible, I think Malta drives on the left hand side of the road.

We get admin emails from people all over the world with various model Falcons seeking advice and help - off the top of my head this has included an EB Fairmont in Spain, an EF or EL Ghia in Fiji and an EB Sprint in Corsica.

Cheers
Russ
