Default Auto/Manual conversion/ cruse problem.

I have bought a EL XR8 which has been converted to manual however when the cruse is on and you push in the clutch it doesnt dis-engauge. Is there an easy solution to this or is the manual/auto cruses slightly different??? Thanks, David

its missing the switch off the clutch pedal. i welded a old brake switch off a EB pedeal box and i havent wired it in yet but ill get around to it one day.
Im just going to find the cruise wire that is on the brake pedal and wire it up to that.
*Note on the left hand side of the steering the welded tab with the black switch in it its a little hard to see as i painted it silver before i put it back in.....because people are always looking under my dash........ : :

I will have to have a look and if its not to much troble i will track down the wires needed.(im a TV tech so it should be ok) Thanks again, David

On my EF there was a plug ready for the clutch switch. When the car is auto there is just a loop (green/red wire if I remember). Need to cut this loop and wire the two ends to the clutch switch.

If I remember correctly on an auto the connector for the clutch switch sits up behind the fuse panel capped off.

I used a Mal Wood pin to do the clutch pedal in my ED, and so there's no bracket to hold the clutch switch for the cruise, one trip to 6000rpm, and i barely every use cruise now... I'm going to try and weld up a bracket to mount it, but cant be stuffed at the moment...
