I'm generally pessimistic but positive enough to look upon mistakes as lessons and not let them scar me as regrets.
Live & learn.

my biggest regret is having lost contact with all my closest friends that i have ever had. these are people that have had an impact on my life and now they arent a part of it, which is sad as they were genuine people that you could trust and be open with.
this is what happens when you move regulary throughout your whole life.

I don't have regrets.

I know I know, corny.

But those that know me, know that it's true.. 2ndOwner can vouch.

Last year I died and was brought back (no nothing religious here folks! thanks go to FlightCare only).. and since then i've learn not to regret anything in life even those things that happened before that. It's all part of making you who you are and creates your life history, which I guess I value lots more now..

Anyone else notice he's calling his first gf a "slut" but then "cheats" on his last gf? Funny how women get called names whereas for a man it's fine to sleep around... no offence mate, just something I always tend to notice. Ok off my soapbox lol

For everyone here, I agree with Toaster - don't regret and don't look back. You are who you are mostly due to those life experiences, and if you hadn't have had those experiences, would you be who you are today?

And sometimes people will hold onto some event that they wish didn't happen or they could change... and it infects the rest of their life with "If only" or "What if". That's not healthy. Accept your mistakes, acknowledge what you could have done differently, then MOVE ON. The past is the past, you can't change it.

The lesson endeth for today :evil_laug _ :yeees:

1. Not buying and renting out a property in 1994 when things were still relatively cheap. Decided to spend savings on a car/ holidays etc.

2. Letting certain family members get to me regarding my GF (now future wife).

3. Not studying hard enough at Uni

1. Probably should of done enough to get into uni even though i had no intention to go but just to open up a few more doors. I was just interested in getting smashed with my mates. I still did awesome but I really could have done way better.

2. Meeting some chick who f**ked me over and ever since I havent been the same which is probably like 1.5 years now.

3. Ever meeting the friend of the chick mentioned in 2. who at every given opportunity will bring up all the s**t caused by the chick mentioned in 2.

I hate them so much.

1. The main thing actually 'trying' to like Holdens because i wanted to impress a guy (by the way i was 17!). He turns out to be a waste of space any way and i proved that i can't get rid of the blue oval blood in my veins!!
Learnt a very valuable lesson that day.. i'm never goin to change for anyone, if they don't approve of me thats their problem, not mine. Mind you i can't ask a guy out after that.. im too scared!!!

Although true, learning from the past is important.

Remember this saying:
"Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it" or something like that.

To those that are shy to talk to a guy or girl, just think, if you do not ask, you will live the rest of your life wondering of what it coulda been. Just let go of all fears and ask them their name(aka start a convo), and know what the answer is? Fearing rejection is like fearing terrorism, if you are scared so much that you change the way you live your life, your only burning yourself.

Girls generally expect a guy to start a conversation with them, so if your afraid of asking, you won't get far fast. And if their in a group of friends, don't let this put you off, in this case you probably better off with asking a name and number, coz its a bit hard to start a 1 on 1 convo in the middle of his/her group, and when you ask a lot of the time their friends will be jealous of the person you asked the number for, and will probably coax her to give it to you.
