Body kit and big wheels. You have a fairmont, so getting a TS50 body kit and wheels, your car will look much like a TS50 cause you ave the dash.

Most people like the go fast bits. I prefer good looks over performance. Sex appeal is what its all about

Search the forum and you will find all you need.

Its simple enough though the general formula is 2.5" catback exhaust, extractors, cam, unichip or chiptorque, and a ported head.

A 3.45 or 3.73 LSD diff conversion helps to get it going too. maybe a manual conversion is your thing though.

Fairmont has 3.23 diff standard though so you're already in front of your average Forte/Futura etc.
It really depends on what you want - looks or go. For me Id have both - some nice wheels, lower it a bit, bodykit if thats your thing, and then look at the power side of things.

Jim mock right the saying goes the more money you spent the slower you go i know of a sydney based vechile that blew the doors off a jim mock prepped vechile on saturday night and the funniest part it has 300000kms on the dial amazing what i little shopping and paying will do the a car.

As for body kit yes go the TS-50 kit as it looks the goods and you can get the I6 going to without morgaging a house on forced induction.

i can only recommend the Crow gear, had great results with the Crow S3 cam, on a standard ecu it ran a very solid 14.9 and thats with a pretty heavy 9" diff in the *** end ...

And so I know I mate, who has a friend, whos sister dated a bloke that once went too the track and saw a fully sick car... WGAF

I run JMM gear and am damm happy with their product, service and support at the track.

My Fairmont is down to 15.60 and 2.160 60f. without a mortgage to the house

Their own cars are testamant to their product, of which run constant times at the track.

Dont see any point to your post so explain it further to a simple man like myself who puts his money where his mouth is.

And yet the Fastest Falcon I6 NA in Aust is a Jim moch car. In fact, nearly EVERY SINGLE mega quick I6 Falcon runs some sort of JMM gear. Not l, there are others, but as a percentage, JMM is top of the tree.

Have you got any JMM gear? Have you got any mods at all? Have you run your car at the drags?
I suggest that before you bag out a product based on "a friend said" you get more info first.

Far out Krusty! you picked the wrong forum to bag out JMM. There is simply too much proven dyno information & completely happy customers to take a shot at JMM. I have not used there products yet, but definately will be when I do my next stage of mods.

I disagree! There are so many cars out there with massive wings 3 inch pipes all glitter & glamer but no go at all. They are great for attracting the attention of the police & because they have no power it is a futile exercise. How many Hyundai excels do you see with big wheels, body kit etc.? There is no substitute for grunt.

simple.. lower it, wheels and tint! it will look like a totally different car : personally i dont really like bodykits on most falcons, XR ones are fine and of course the TS50 is the bomb but on a TS just my 2 cents but definatley search the forums you will get plenty of ideas mate!

Far more reputable posters have flamed the crap outta u so i'm just gonna torch the embers here...

JMM tune their cars for road performance as well as track performance. Your mates uncles 3 zillion km car will probably die under normal driving conditions, if its drivable in a non-straight line to begin with! :

Ahh i feel better now.

But seriously if you cared to notice AU3FAIRMONT said he's a novice - so JMM is the ideal starting point since it gives clear cut performance packages along with genuine RWkW estimates. Easily understood for a newbie.

JMM for sure AU3FAIRMONT! :

One thing I think a few people seem to have lost sight of is this: why do people modify their cars? I think that in general, the answer to that would be that they are changing things they think can be improved on.

So lower your car if you don't like the ride height or want better handling around corners, upgrade the car audio if you aren't 100% happy with the car audio setup it's got now, put on extractors and a better exhaust if you want more power, better economy and a more pleasing exhaust note, change the wheels if you don't liek the ones it has now or there are some that you like more. And so on.

If you tell us what you like and don't like about it as it is now, we might be able to suggest some changes which will improve what you don't like, and/or improve what you like about it.

No. Not at all. Who told you that?

The EF of Brenden Mocks was getting 300+rwkw with a crappy powerdyne SC... Id call that pretty good rather than useless.

WOW!
i remember reading it here on these forums ages ago!
i would WAY rather supercharge my AU than turbo it...
is supercharging cheaper??
do you need to do lots of engine work to compensate for the charger?????

:dr_Evil:
To be honest, supercharging it is more expensive then turbo's on a KW for KW basis.

To do it right the engine changes are the same as a turbo... just depends on how much power you want to get as to how much you will need to spend on the engine.

Your call on whether you like JMM or not but let's hear some more on this sydney car. Was it an ITS performance car ? What did it run ?

No it wasnt IT car id rather get JMM or Redcliffedyno to build me a engine than IT performance purely for the fact the cars that have had the engines done and the claims of power output are pure BS but hey each to there own.

lox no the car is from a liverpool workshop and it this occured not on race track but on a cruise last saturday night.

So you are baseing the presumption that JMM are no good based on 1 street race?

Does the term swiss cheese even come close to describing your decision? (full of bloody holes).
