Default Casper Visits Sydney June 16th..

Well, actually I'm here now but totally stuffed from a very long day.

Anyhow, tomorrow night I should have a bit more energy so I'm up for a bit of a mini cruise (Krispy Cremes is calling my name!!!) if anyones up for it? :

I'm staying at Darling harbour (sussex st) so its about as central as it gets.

If anyone has any idea's on doing something tomorrow night let me know. Just post a here or drop me a PM and I'll get back to you asap.

Casper.

Hey Casper,

If you are in Sydney, can you get OUT of Sydney on Saturday?

Ya gotta come up here to Katoomba, in the Blue Mountains as it's the Winter Magic Festival. They close off the street and we party all day and night (mmmm one of the nightclubs is open till 4am, guess where I'll be?). Bit of a hippiefest freakshow, hundreds of tourists (some named Sven and Anna and decidedly cute), lots of fun.

If you do come up this way, RUG UP. It's fkn freezing atm, about 2C when you wake up and about 8-9C during the day (the temp during the day up here is what Sydney's temp is during the night)

And yes, Lisa is right. You need to give us more warning!

Sorry Bindi, this is a work trip and I'll be headig home Friday night....and god help anyone who try's to make me miss my plane.

As for Katoomba, been there before and really enjoyed it however I'm pretty much the "anti-hippy" so I doubt I'd fit in well. Think of G W Bush at a hippy party...not exactly a pretty sight :P

As for partying Mrs C.... so far thats consisted of room service food "blah" and watching a Drew Barrymore movie..... I'm really tearing up the town so far :

LOL GW Bush at a hippy party is just too funny!

And yes, my daughter had to watch said Drew Barrymore movie as she had never seen it and she likes DB.

Well have fun if you manage to get anyone to have a drink with!

I miss thie every year! : Have been told it's quite good, but as we travel to Sydney the week following for a different festival, we always just miss out.

Have fun. I'm sure if I went i'd spend way too much at the market anyway...
