Default gilmer belt drive

hey there all was just wondering if anyone has fitted a gilmer belt drive kit to their v8 if so where did you get it from and how well does it work? cheers

Not trying to be smart but why would you be bothered. The serpintine(spelling) is miles ahead of the old v belt, hell check a March pulley kit there over $3k. A gilmer is turning something that's hard to turn that will cause slip ie a blower or a older motor with bugger all accessories and saving the expense of going serp, or you're after the noise. I'm just curious why you'd bother when you have a superior setup already, as i said just asking not being smart.

pretty sure you wont get one to suit AU anyway. Unless you want to abandon power steer and aircon.

If you really wanted one there are ways of doing it, you don't have to buy everything off the shelf.

Yeh i didnt think it would be an easy thing. I was just after it for noise whilst i save up for a supercharger. Cheers anyways
