Default Ford Owners of Australia - Can you help me??

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of getting some photos together for a documentation of the old Ford Factory site at Eagle Farm here in Brisbane which will eventually be published.

Long story short, I was hoping to get some shots of members cars in the carpark of the factory, however, more specifically, cars that were actually built there. Now I'm sure someone else can clarify more thoroughly, but these cars will have a JH VIN prefix, instead of the JG etc.

Here is a recent thread on the subject - http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...73#post4231173

So, if you know of anyone who owns a car that was built at Eagle Farm, or even better, own one yourself and are willing to donate an hour of your time on a yet to be determined date, please post here, or send me a PM. I would anticipate the final product being a group shot of maybe 5 or so cars. Even better would be the inclusion of a Louisville truck, or even a Fordson tractor, which were also both built there. The photoshoot would happen on a weekend, probably mid to late afternoon at the site in Eagle farm.

So please spread the word!

My ZL is a JH build Dan, however I dont like my chances of it being ready in time. Unless you plan on doing this after June...

Not 100% sure mate, but I'm in the process of finding out. I have a feeling that any model from the 1930's upwards, but as to tell what ones came from Brisbane, I don;t know.

Once I know for sure, I'll post it up.

F-trucks also, although I don't know what the VIN difference is. I believe my old one was Bris built, AL1JTE was the VIN prefix.

I have two 1962 Fordson Super Majors. Aus assembled but not sure if they came from Eagle Farm or Geelong. One of the tractors is Wagga Wagga delivered.

A mate on the northside has a mint one. Not sure what he's up to, but with a few details of the photoshoot and I think I could tee him up.

I would probably be able to help. I have a '74 xb sedan built in brisbane i use as a daily. She is in decent condition for the age but has a few little dings and paint chips. Is also only a column shift 250, not sure if you're after show cars or the like?
I have most weekends off and don't live far away so let me know if this would help. I'll throw a pic up below.

Mate thats perfect. Not after show cars in particular, so I'll be in touch about a date.

XD 351 Ute, if you could check with your mate that would be cool - I only really need three or so cars, but the more the merrier.
