Default Bendix SRT for AU2

Hi Floored, I apologise for not coming thru for that other group buy. Money has gotten real tight of late. I've had to cut back on a few things I wanted to do.

I was wondering if you could get me a supply/deliver price on a set of Bendix SRT pads to suit my AU2 falcon sedan please.

I have RDA rotors front and rear which I bought from you a while back and they have been great. Would I need to machine the face of these prior to fitting new pads? I currently have Bendix HD pads on the F&R, is it dangerous to mix F&R pad compounds, and should I get both F&R pads matching for optimal performance?

My driving style is aggressive street, no track work. I like to do hills runs often. What I dont like is brake noise and high dust. I can live with a little bit of dust but cannot stand the amount of dust that comes with the say Ultimates.

Do you recommend the SRT's, or can you also recommend an alternative say for instance the QFM HPX's?

Appreciate your time.

Mate the pads are $262 delivered and you can do just front only but these SRT pads will be dusty and possible noise from feedback we have had.Disc machining is recommended. Not all customers have noise issues but dust is there. We have some ferodo formula pads in stock for $162 delivered and these will have similar issues but they are cheaper and will work for your aggressive street driving.

Thanks for the feedback. Would the HPX pads be another good alternative?

I think they would be fine we have now started stocking them and they are $80 a set plus freight.

Floored - I see on your website you do the Ferodo DS2500 in the HCompound. How do these compare to the SRT's and HPX's?

Also, what are your RB74 pads like? Will they suit my application?

These DS2500 pads are not available off the shelf for the AU2 caliper but we could cut some for you and they are a fantastic pad.The RB74 equivalent is very good and is only $165 a set and all the pads we have talked about will be dusty and may have noise.

Thanks Matt. I think I'll just have to deal with the dust in lieu of better braking.

Can you amend that PM I sent you to the RB74's from the HPX's please?

Sorry for the root around.
