No Regan it's not specific just a historical archive I guess with some interesting threads. I don't know what your looking for specifically but the EFC to my best knowledge is history. BTW I was looking through the 2008 S.F.S. Thread and noticed you'd called by the Club Display for a short time, did we meet up???

Seems indeed that the site has gone kaputski.

Since it left my hosting I was then out of control of it, but its still registered and the domain isnt available either.

So im sure something could be arranged if someone wants to take it over again, other then that, looks like its gone the way of the dodo.

Thanks RJ089, do we also have that logo with the European flag/stars? Might be a bit off there. I'll start working on it tonight, pretty much can work on it at work since I'll be in front of the computer all day. (Call centre ftl).

Well I'm the custodian of the Eurofordclub Banner a.t.m. This is a photo from the Sthn.N.S.W.A.F.D. that Melbzetec and myself attended a while ago. Hope this helps.

Eddie that image would work really well as it can be flattened with a reduced colour range and then cropped. Do you have the same image in High res??

I'm going for a minimalistic look, simple, quick to load, no fuss website.

Mainly because I don't know how to use Flash :p

Neither do I but i highly recommend drawing a layout in photoshop first and then dividing the image up into its tables and such, then assembling it all in html. Then use asp or php to load all the data for the website... that will keep it looking good as well keeping the size small.... flash is only good if you want to animate it all (which in most cases i think is overkill anyway). If my memory serves me (i prefer to use fireworks rather than photoshop), photoshop has an export feature that should be able to choose the best pic format as well as reduce the colour range to only the colour required for each pic.... this in turn will reduce the image sizes massively without loosing the quality.

I think my site including all the images and databases is only about 25Mb.

Scratch that prev image.... I've got some better images to work with now and I should have the logo (transparent gif) ready next weekend. Unfortuanlly I have ran out of thime this long weekend. Too many friends trying to catch up with me.
