Removal of Stereo 1998 Laser LXi

Hi All,

Firstly i would like to say hi and to point out i am new to the forum, my question has probably been answered but i cant find the information i am after.

i have recently bought a 1998 Laser and wish to upgrade the stereo but i cant seem to find any information on the removal process of the standard Ford stereo.

Would really appreciate if some one could point me in the right direction.

I love to find out how to remove the original h/u.
Shall I just use old wire hanger or customised pins?
Or do I have to remove glove box first?
