Hi BlackLS
Before I start inserting wires into the ‘grommet’, I’ve taken a picture of the back area of the battery box where the centre of the picture shows a silver plastic capping of some kind. Is this the ‘grommet’ that you were referring to as the entrance where I can insert a wire through and into the interior cabin area? The ‘grommet’ is further highlighted by my flashlight. =) If that silver capping is the correct access through the firewall, will the permanent removal of the capping cause any issues? Cos my wire may be a little too thick to squeeze between & through the spokes of the capping & I may wish to remove that capping permanently. Thanks for the help in advance! =) |

nope thats not it.
The grommet is like a LARGE toilet plunger with a hole through the centre of it.

Yeah, the grommet he's talking about is around 6cm in diameter. Bulges out towards the engine and has a large wire running through the middle. If you can't find it, I can go take a photo of it if you want.

Thanks photn & edgecrusher89! I found the grommet aka ‘toilet plunger’. With such a candid and apt description, very few would miss it.
Cheers! =) |
