Default Which Colour? Dash (green), blueprint or other?

Hi all,

I am trying to decide which colour to spray my car, Ford AU XR6 series 3 sedan with XR50 kit and bonnet bulge.

I am leaning towards dash with black or silver strips, or blueprint with silver strips, but I just cant seem to decide.

Also trying to decide whether to get a carbonfibre bonnet similar to Mickś (bluprnt) ute.

I have added examples of the colours and what the car will look like with a XR50 kit.
(I hope guys on the forum dont mind me using pics of their cars for examples)

Please vote!! Suggestions/comments also appreciated

Dash by a mile - blueprint is everywhere, and having seen a GT in Dash yesterday, it's a really nice colour.

I wouldnt go CF bonnet with it, it'll look mismatched IMHO.

My AU is silver as well and they look really nice with a nice metallic silver, similar to the original metallic ford silver from the factory. But that blueprint with the silver stripes looks awesome too. But blueprint is everywhere too. go silver!! But make sure its nice... I'll stop

if you are going to the trouble and expense to repaint your car, I'd recommend picking a non factory colour. For the same price you get a car that has a better chance of being unique.

an AU in a ba/bf colour will be unique as long as its not a colour similar to an AU factory colour so i would say go for DASH.

I would personally leave the car silver, as it doesn't age and is a very alogent colour.

If you insist on colour change i would look at Neo (similar to blueprint).

That Green is very nice ( I love it ) but IMO it will age.

Good luck Mick.

If it's a keeper you need a timeless colour. eg: Black/Red/Silver. Think of all those tiger orange holdens. Yuk! yesterdays fashion.

If your going for a couple of years then selling it. Dash it is.

For mine Black. Grey, Navy Blue.

Cheers

T

No way....It's a well known fact in the trade that green is by FAR the hardest colour car to sell
And my favourite color is green and I think that dash looks magic

If you are after something a little different in the AU ... I suggest Blaze ... it's the dull Gold metallic colour from the B-series and Territory's .... very underrated colour.
