Default Shipping Cars Across State?

I'm just wondering what sought of money people have paid to get their cars shipped to them from another country

average cost of the shipping in general. and/or added travel insurance costs.

i remember reading a thread about this a while back thier car was all scratched up when it arrived and was out in the open amongst the trucks coming in and out getting covered in dust be carefull.

back to you a mate of mine had a 66 mustang shipped from the states cost him about 1500 thats only because he had a friend who worked high up with p&o and got him a huge discount but i would say youd prolly pay anywhere in between 2500 to 5000 depending on the sort of service you want.

Done this a few years ago when I bough my last TS50
It was from Hobart flew from Brissy to Hobart bought the car from the dealer and come back by the Spirit of Tasmania from Devonport to Sydney and drove it from Sydney to Tweed Heads it took 2 days but it was nice and relaxing
It was about 150 all up for the 2 of us and the car on the boat and about 150 for the fuel
How often can you say you went from Hobart to Queensland on 2 tanks of fuel.
