Default Bingle on Hepburn Ave - VE R8 vs Hyundai Excel

Was driving to Kingsway shops north of Perth when we came across this accident; it's a dangerous intersection and the result is clear. Not sure who pulled out on who, but the Hyundai Excel ended up T-boning the VE R8. Photos are a bit blurry sorry but you get the idea. The driver of the VE had an HSV shirt on him so it's fair to say he is pretty keen on his Holdens and i would be just as cut if it happened to me. Wouldn't wish this on anyone really regardless of the vehicle

Bloody Holdens always getting in the way, ruining a perfectly good Hyundai front end like that.... what a waste.

Holden or not that would be pretty devastating to happen your new car, even if it is repaired it won't have that new feel to it anymore

oh that sort of bingle...

when I read your title I thought maybe Lara Bingle had been walking along Hepburn Ave and caused the crash...

seriously now, what a pain in the a$$ for all concerned, no matter what you drive.

I hate that intersection I have the pleasure of going through there every day. They need to do something about it as there is always accidents there you can't see very well when you are turning.

agreed; what i don't understand is why the lights dont use the "green arrow". It has the bulb there for the right hand turn across the intersection but it never comes on so you have to try to pick a safe time to get across and with Wanneroo Road constantly feeding cars through it, it's very hard to get across

I'll second that.........you would think with the amount of accidents they have already had there they would of done something....

In another matter i turned left in giralt rd heading away from the shops when i noticed some goat p plater in a vt commodore overtaking around the islands and if anyone knows that part of the rd its only 300 metres untill i get to the round about so you can tell how close he was to hitting me. I beeped and was going to turn around to get his plate, but didnt.

Have seen this a number of times on this road too; mainly when a bus stops in front of them and they don't want to wait. On this one occasion the driver of a black commodore ute made the lunge to get around the bus at the wrong time and the bus cut him off (they both left at the same time) so he had to continue on the wrong side of the road and go around the roundabout on the wrong side (as the bus stop was only a few metres from the entrance to the roundabout). It was sooooooo dangerous

You said it Jess.

What surprises me is that most of you douches wouldnt know a decent car if it smacked your sh*tty little Ford from behind.

And what surprises me more is that people TOOK PHOTOS of this accident! The car would have been there a maximum of half an hour before it was driven off! Stalkers much? Geez. Give it 5 mins and I would have been seen in those photos coming to help my father.

Not only is this an invasion of privacy, but it is an insult that people can find such pleasure in mocking others for mistakes that were difficult to avoid. Whatever man. And how about you label it PROPERLY. R8? Pfft. That was so 4 years ago for us.

xx

Mistaking a Clubsport for an R8 is easy, especially at a distance. It's no big deal, just a mistake.

If you even read the first post, you'd realise ThundaBird sympathised with the owner of this Clubsport, and probably took pictures because it's quite an expensive, new model car, and it's a shame to see this happen to it. Bagging the opposite camp on a Ford or Holden site is inevitable, and was not the intention of this thread.

Oh, and by no law is it an "invasion of privacy". You seriously need to lighten up. Please stop invading the privacy of this forum.

xx
