I thought it best to bring up an old thread of the same topic than create a new one, as i have similar issues and need some advice...

For a start... I cannot use my remote locking... just flashes all over the place... unlocks the doors in this fashion: press once, drivers door unlocks... press 2nd time, the rest of the doors unlock... press a third time to lock... and the acuators go nuts followed by the blinkers going on and off and the horn beeping a few times... but does not lock the doors...

2nd problem... everytime i open and close any doors, all the actuators go nuts a couple of times...

3rd problem... my front passenger door decided it didnt want to lock anymore... so for safety and security... i disconnected the acuator and the outer door handle...

any suggestions? i will be using the above tutorial guide for any drive shaft breakages... but unsure about the rest...

.
Fix your 3rd problem 1st you will find most likely this is the cause of all your problems.
I had a rear door that wouldn't lock on my AU the actuator was broken, car wouldn't lock and sometimes it would lock, in general it was playing up, once l replaced the the broken actuator the locking system started to work normal again.

Well i just realised a little mistake in how i worded my information... i meant to add with the 3rd problem that it happened after the other issues... it was ok when i bought the car... and using the key only, i could centrally open and close the doors... problem 2 still existed though...

that's probably because you now have more than one door actuator broken...
