Default ghost plates do work

I have an original protector on my Hayabusa ( a slow japanese motorcycle ) so far I havent been done with a traffic calming device however I have been given a verbal warning by a member of the police farce to have it removed so if they dont like them they must work :

Having watched a few 'episodes' of ghost rider, your slow Jap bike appears to have great enough turn of slow to blur the image anyway......

Got to ask, how slow have you gone on it?

well only up to 110 officer, really though the things a weapon Ive had it to about 280 and it was still pulling like a wee 14 yr old, of course that was under contolled conditions , Ive never really worried about doing a full speed run because the speedo only goes to 300 but with the mods Ive done it should do about 320

280 isnt bad, i love hayabusa's theyre great to ride
i remember my uncles ninja ZX-12R (2000?? model either way it was the unrestricted top speed model) used to lift the front wheel at 200+kays, managed to get it up to 340 on a top speed run (that was with a friend riding, his an X racer and can outride pretty much everyone i know). it was definatly a quick bike. but he spent 6K on the motor, so it went like a cut snake.

What happens when/if the motor throws a rod and siezes at 300+ks?

Oil under the back tyre tends to be the biggest issue in engine blowups on a bike.

Uncle being Casey Stoner ?

Lifting the front wheel at 200 is likely to produce a Max Biaggi effect. :

Nah, Mick Doohan... you missed the about being an X Racer... hmmm.
Maybe the uncle's identity is actually RacerX?
Good thing Max tucks his leathers into his socks....

The zx12 is a good thing but the pillion seat is like a postage stamp and the missus complains enough about the hayabusa , thats not about the seat though anyway chaps and chapettes isnt this forum about our beloved blue oval I was mainly interested in letting you all know about the ghost plate sorry to have turned it into a bike forum

You mean apart from the puckered backend, no not the bikes.

re-read the post nick.... <shakes head>

do you have 40years riding experience?
or have you ridden a modified ninja zx12r? theyre friggin crazy enough standard!

lifting the front wheel doesnt mean vertical, you'd either have to be FIN good at riding to do that, or totaly insane!

I had a friends friend pop his bike (R1 i think) up next to me at 2ook's, he backed off then threw his leggs over the handle bars while we were doing 17oish. He then blew past me and i backed off at 23o, some of the he was doing at speed was crazy.
