Strange one that, Is the car backfiring at all?
Does the car do it on Petrol? (or is a dedicated gas jobbie) How is the airbox has it blown of its spring clips (ie backfiring)? Seems a bit weird, but like 90% of LPG problems it iss probably due to a weak ignition system- either dodgy sparkplugs, leads or coil. I remember mine was fine one day, then started backfiring, by the next day it was running on 5 cylinders as one of the leads went cactus overnight- new plugs and leads and im 35,000klms on.
