Default I don't think you'll find many E-Series hoons..

Hey guys,

Stats in the paper today show that out of a total of 2000 cars seized since the introduction of the anti-hoon legislation, 770 are Commodores. Only about 150 have been Falcons.

I don't think there are many E-Series hoons to be dobbed in.

Who here is one of the 150 unlucky enough to get busted driftin'?

HAHAHA

That doesn't surprise me one bit. Did you see that idiot that crashed his VN, after doing a 40m burnout with his wife in the car and he killed his child. Moron tried to do a runner aswell. :

If this thread goes down the usual commodore bashing path, it will be closed.

I heard he killed both, and drugs and alcohol were found in the car - no surprise there. I just can't work out how someone who owns a VN can afford drugs/grog. I hope he gets life - his kids did, and they were too young to have any say in it.

Back on topic - some of us are hoons, but there's a time and a place for it, and the streets isn't it.

What is the defination of a hoon? Is a chirp into second gear 'hooning'?
Is a 1st gear brakie for 2 seconds not considered hooning, but a 5 second one is? Speeding over the limit by 5ks? 10ks?
Or are you only a hoon if you get caught?
It's so hard to tell whether I'm a hoon or a car enthusiast, the government should distribute pamphlets and fridge magnets to help.

depends on the drivers attitude and how good the cops day has been is most likley what it comes down to.

LOL

Its really really simple. Just drive like every other person on the road and obey the rules; then you will have zero problems.

Every member here, and probably every human being has either given a car or squirt or done something that wasn't quite mature. You just have to pick the right place and time to do it now.

Its these idiots that get caught who stuff around most likely in broad daylight, on a main strip somewhere.

Still means the lowest 10% of the driving age group (Under 25s) accounted for 2/3 of the impounding....

I think Falcon owners have more respect for their cars. Other drivers just want to show how goos their car can spin a single wheel.

It's very good to here. Stat's I like to see.

On Channel 7 News NOW they are saying the Police are going to toughen the Hoon Laws and of course they have pictures of modified cars not the stock std ones that have been caught Hooning GRRRRRRRRRR

They are playing Footage from over 5 years ago, nice one!

I'd love to see an Alloytec do a burnout. Or even just spin a wheel. Hehehe.

But yeah you are right Steady, but put the Commodore 4 speed into a Falcon and it'll rip good burnouts as well.

Burnouts are a fun thing to do, and are fun for show, but there is a time and a place, and if you are doing it where the cops can get to you, then you are doing them at the wrong time, at the wrong place.

You tried doing standstills in an auto BA?
You gotta do the nutbush on the brake to get it spinning.

Thats right mate thats why we always have skid pan days and drag comps. in geelong there is a lot of commos and ricers hooning around and it brings all of the modded cars and tasteful cars down cos we get pulled over all the time and im getting sick and tired of worrying about driving around cos the cops are everywhere now....
