Default Ford Servicing

A question regarding servicing on my Focus. Some background - this is the first Ford that I have ever bought. My Focus is a leased vehicle.

It has now had about 4 services now. Each time, the dealer signs that service book that the service has been done but has never provided any details of what was actually done on the vehicle. The only documentation that I have is the signed service book.

My questions are --
. is this normal procedure? (any other leased vehicle that I have had from other manufacturers, they have always provided a job sheet as to what was done on the service)
. once I asked them for a list of what was done and they said they would post it out (it never was posted)
. does anyone know if Ford has or keeps the history service of each vehicle?
. can I ask for a copy of the service history of my vehicle?

Thanks for any help here.

They should provide it to you on the spot, and explain what was done to it.

They also should have the records for each visit, on request they should provide it to you.

Pretty common with lease cars different habits different dealers. Just ask for a copy of the paperwork when you drop it off. Chasing at the other end for a copy gives mixed results. And ask the dealer for the history.

Only the Ford dealer would have copies of the work carried out, Ford Motor Company does not. They only have record of date and what service took place, no finer details and that banking on the dealer entering the data into the Ford system..
