Question MPI Conversion

Hey guys im in the process of my MPI conversion considering all the people who gave me hell for the CPI.Thanks guys gave me some incentive.

Today i got an injector manifold (thanks damo) came with injectors and loom I know i need an ECU and air box is there anything else that i need?

And also this manifold came out of an EA will the loom be compatible to my EB1?

How many people have done this conversion any tips on problems to watch out for?

You will need a Series 2 EA MPFI loom or EB1. Same thing anyway. Its just suited to your 4 speed auto. Just look on the loom for a 4 pin round plug with blue wires.

IF it does, you have a Series 2 loom.

Also if you need a ECU, i have a EB1 ECU that I am not using. Feel free to PM me if your interested

TPS is the Throttle Position Sensor, it screws in the side of the throttle body, I bet Mick has one of these. :

u will need the whole throttle body if the replacement one doesnt have a duel TPS. The shaft is longer for the duel gang TPS.

i mean if u got a MPI manifold thats was from a manual or 3 speeder and u currently have a 4 speed in yer car then u will need a different throttlebody coz the earlier ones dont have a long enuf butterfly shaft to run 2 TPS. Will only operate 1.

The Throttlebody that Damo has is a Series 2 style. I have a dual Series 2 TPS setup here aswell.
