The only person who drives my car is my son & only if he gives up the XR50T for me to use.

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Need a car take your pic. Only car we dont lend out is the missus car. It's her new baby so its kinda off limits. The BA I smoke in it, they can as well. Flog them, why not, I do. However pretty much anyone I lend em to nearly always drive them sensibly. Only rule is you break it you pay for it.

The only issue we have run into is smoking in the mondeo, or the missus old car. That annoyed us and hasnt been done since. We dont smoke in the new cars.

i have only ever loaned to family, my parents took 1 of my cars for 6 months and ended up buying off me then gave it back to me for free...that was a good deal

i have lent one of my cars to my eldest brother and came back with a broken engine mount and a broken mirror and he t-boned a car in my old patrol but he let me borrow his very angry 351 XD
the other brother used my 6 seater HT kingswood as his lady pleasure car and i didn't find out until i sold it...that brother also lets me (and only me) drive his 450hp RX4 (soon to be 630hp)

oh and a mate has let me borrow his HSV GTO and i'm the only other person to drive it other than him so if he wants to borrow my GT I guess i have to let him.

the trick is if you do a skid in a borrowed car don't tell a soul

If I borrow a mate's car I won't smoke in it, even though I smoke in my own. So I actually do treat other peoples' cars nicer.

EDIT: I try to avoid borrowing anything from anyone, especially cars.

I'd ask him "can I borrow your wife?"

In all seriousness, I'd lend my daily to any mate, never the LTD.
When I borrow a car, the lender knows this.
