Default Light up Ford Badge

Gday,
Anyone know where i can get a Ford badge that lights up blue or any other colours during nighttime? Saw it on a VE commodore with a chev badge (idiot) and it lit up red and was wondering if the ford badge could do the same.
Cheers

Watch out - displaying a blue light is a no no, as is showing a red light to the front....

And yes, cops don't like red or blue on the front of your car.

Did not know you couldn't have the blue at the back or the red at the front, thanks for the warning! I guess red at the back is fine then?

Possibly like driving with fog lights on during the day. Most people get away with it most of the time. I like these from the States but the website is quite old so not sure if they are still available. http://www.nthcoast.com/lightedlogopics.html
Cheers

I know this isnt quite on the subject but as we are talking about the legalities of coloured lights on the front or rear - how does that law pertain to neon tube lighting these rice burners use on the road.

The ones they have in their grills and under their car bodies

Are they legal? If not why are they sold?

I would think that anything that was not road legal in Australia shouldnt be able to be sold

Or is it 'buyer beware' ?

Just a thought

Like stated above they need to be the correct colour front back and side.
Also underglow is 100% illegal.
People can sell what they want its only a light but if you choose to put it on and get caught that's your own problem.

You can have ground effect lighting so long as you can't actually see the globe/tubes themselves.

Only when the car is parked off the road for display purposes, drive with them on and you will be fined.

Phht...half the stuff in the accessories aisle at your local car parts place is illegal. It's not illegal to own it...you just can't put it on a road car.

Front lights must be white and fitted in pairs to a maximum of six (eg: two headlights and four spotties, four individual headlights and two spotlights, etc), fog lights are apparently an exception for the colour and are allowed to be yellow..which is why you may have been pulled over and warned or even fined for having your driving lights on in your new Falcon when it wasn't "foggy or rainy" conditions...I know I was warned soon after we bought it...

The rule about "pairs of lights"is causing some headaches with the popularity now of LED light bars...for a while there, in Queensland at least, they said they would only be legal if you fitted a black covering strip half way across to give them the appearance of a pair of lights, while he whole idea of them was under review as legislation hadn't kept up with lighting technology. From what four wheel drive guys at work have said, they have now decided to quietly drop the "black out strip" idea until they an figure out how to write the new type of lights into legislation.

Not in WA- so long as the coloured light source is not directly visible and they don't flash or pulse they're legal.
