Hopefully the build quality improves, the clips on the trim are in most cases stronger the plastic it is holding in, you can easily snap trims, stress mark them or snap off the clip from the trim without much force with a trim removal tool. I worked on two new VE sportwagons this week, had to pull out a lot of trims to hide wires under.

We also noticed the factory battery terminals are loose from factory, you can move them by hand, or you can very easily bend the crap out of the terminal using a 13mm socket to try undo the top nut to add any accessories as the nut is tighter than the terminals which makes them spin, catch on the battery bracket, if you try lever off that the terminal deforms.

Maybe that is why they seem to have a lot of electrical problems?

They'll keep the LWB. Makes no sense to axe it from the aust market when it's the basis of the Caprice PPV in the US.

You're forgetting XR6 Turbo and G6E Turbo. Only 1 less model in the range.

They're the same trim level, but with more power. I don't think it counts.

More or less engine options really.

And what is the SS then, compared to SV6. Or Caprice V over Caprice. Caprice V is just a Caprice with a V8.

im startled that no one has mentioned that if this was an article about falcon itd be all doom an gloom about holden struggling and commadore was colapsing and all the ussual rubbish. Anyway...i hope they enjoy selling even less rubbish to aussies. Its astonishing how many smucks buy 6cyl commies compared to the competition who actually have great car to sell.

Something tells me they will keep their LWB sedan... but I doubt the look will change, of maybe only slightly. They still have to provide the U.S. with Caprices.
What I meant was they will only have one caprice variant... They will definitely keep lwb... My guess is it will get a nose job.

I think it's a good thing to consolidate models and have fewer.

Ford should do the same and drop the XT in favour of the G6.
