I feel your pain, i had some moron in a Pajero throw open his door straight into the side of my BA less than 24 hours after i picked it up brand new. The amount of people i see in car parks just throwing their doors open, not looking at all.. give me the irrits. If it helps, i usually try to find either a new, expensive, or done up car to park next to at the shops lol.

hope u kicked there door in!!!. i would lose it if i saw someone doing that to my car. especially if my hand got jammed in between. no respect.
i also try to do the same, find a car thats nicer then your own,and park there. it usually stays pretty safe.

Nice work Jase. Are you putting a coat of clear over the top of the undercoat while you drive it around? Apparntly when the colour is ready to goe on, you just rub back the clear coat a bit. I dont know if its the best way of doing it. I was told its a good way to do it if your spending a bit of time fixing up the body progressivly.

Good luck mate!

ahh there is a perfectly good reason for this

undercoat is porous(sp), meaning if you leave a car in primer for a while water will get under the paint and rust the crap outa the panels...

if you're doing it fairly quickly it wont really be a worry but anymore than a few weeks and i'd be clear-ing it
