bring a late ED, its possible it is an EF colour, the photo makes it really hard to tell what colour it is.
I was thinking the same about the plates myself. From what ive seen there is a few different shades in this kind of colour but im pretty sure ive never seen another ED this exact shade so like you said it could be the last of the run and they had some of the EF paint options then or something.

Hmm it does look an awful lot like mocha foam and A6 is definately mocha. Never seen an ED in this color tho, so you may have something fairly unique

You cannot change or get changed details on compliance plates.
As far as I know it is a hell of a lot more than $1.60 to get replacement plates (which have to have identical info on them as what was originally on the car) and also fairly difficult to get done.

To me it sounds like it must've been a late ED that ford decided to test a colour on, which happens fairly often when a new model is due out.

not to mention you don't need new compliance plates when the cars resprayed, just notify authorities of the change, inc ur road side assistance ... Ey sunny? :P

I guess we can all agree on the fact the colour is "mocha foam" though i spose. It sounds like something id order at a coffee shop!!!! and if it is an ED with an EF colour im gonna jack the price up a couple of grand if im ever gonna sell it hahah
