Welcome to the (Windows) '95 New Year!

As for me, lose weight, buy a new car, be a good Dad for the bubs about to be born next year, be a supportive husband for the wife.

That would explain why you'd been much crankier and abrupt in your postings in 2011

I'm with you though, I gave up making New Years resolutions and just live each day as it comes. I have worked out over the years that Murphy is obviously a close relative and whenever I make any kind of plans he usually takes part and throws a spanner in the works

Happy New Year to all anyway and best of luck with all your resolutions

I don't make resolutions. If I want to make a change I do it now. I don't wait till the next year.

If weight loss was one of my resolutions it was forced on me via ol' Blighty's friggin government wanting more money through raising public transport costs.

Since I whinge about wanting to move out of Sydney so often, mine is to "Enjoy Sydney".

I.e. actually take the time to go in to the city and browse around the rocks, find nice places to eat / see.

Also refers to finding nice places to drive up or down to within NSW
