Default Alloy pedals for AU1 Fairmont auto

G'day all

Could someone please let me know where I can get a set of alloy pedals for my AU1 Fairmont (auto).
I would prefer genuine Ford item if possible.

Many Thanks
Gerry.

You really have to be carefull as I've heard of cars being defected with the aftermart 1's. I think the HSV's use them.

Thats correct. AU's never had factory fitted alloy pedals and any of the aftermarket ones will be a technical defect if they police want to do it. Its unlikely they would but its there and is defective as far as the laws go.

You can buy the BA Alloy pedals. You'll need to modify your AU pedals a bit, but yeah.

Thanks LG

What kind of modification do you need to do to the pedals/any thread that shows me how to do it?

Mick Webb at SVO Motorsport knows what to do. He also sells the BA alloy pedals.

For the brake, you can slip on the pedal and screw the pedal in. For the accelerator, i think you need to unweld your existing one off, and put the new on. Not too sure.

Maybe ask Mick Webb how much he'd charge to put it on for you. The pedals are like $100-150ish.
