Default ED block with AU HP head, will it fit?

Just wondering if any of you fellas have tried or investigated fitting an AU HP head onto an ED 4.O litre block??

A fella at work has one complete with cam and all the goodies for sale...

Any help appreciated

yep, it will fit. all heads EA-AU are interchangeable. the only thing is you will have a compression drop because the EB pistons have a large bowl and so does the AU head. 20thou or more of the head will raise it a bit unless you go EF pistons in the block.
