Default WSID race for real wedensdays 28th oct

hey all,

the F.T.F. Car Club has booked a lane at WSID for tomorrow night (28th oct) with club commodore. but a lack (huge) of communication from thier end means we have 15 spots up for grabs in the lane.

depending on the weather, i am opening up the invite to any AFF members in the Sydney area interested in running down the 1/4 mile.

if you're interested, pm me or come and see me with the gold BA XR8 in the pits after 5pm.

price is $50 for competitors and you need a AS/NZ1698 helmet (they check this and have been really strict lately)
kneck to toe clothing and closed shoes
drivers licence and or ANDRA licence and log book

:hihi: :hihi: ah well you got more runs in than i did

i was really happy with the way the xr8 was going (13.9 @ 103.7mph) until my second run and a dnf :

had a pretty quick flatbed ride home. :

got it sussed on what the problem is but we'll find out when the mechanic gets out to my place today. keep you updated.

yeah it looked like it was going to pi5s down from a great height. it drizzled for about 5 minutes and racing was underway 20 minutes later. then i killed a cv driveshaft.

all fixed now and running good. just have to take it a bit easier on the start line.
