Im not sold on the idea at this stage, we changed the title to force what state parts are in recently, but it is still open for comment

Geez matt are you trying to triple my workload or something?!:hihi:

To be honest I dont see the need, the location is now mandatory in thread titles and I think solves 99% of the problem?

Yeah I agree, but that 1% could be splitting it up into models (x series, e series, au+b series). :

I didn't mind looking at e series parts all the time when I had one.

Definitely not going to happen because if you start, where do you stop?

X
E
A
B

Falcon
Fairmont
Fairlane
XR

4
6
8

Windsor
Clevo
Boss

etc etc etc, you could go on forever.

maybe like the cruise section

vic/tas
act/nsw
wa/sa/nt
qld will just make it easy instead of getting all the states in one section

You could, or you just say what ever car it came out of then thats the category it goes in.

Who cares if its a NC Fairlane V8, or a EB falcon xr8, its still an e series part. Same if its a V8 part, you go the the section that corresponds with the car. For example if some e series owner was after a Windsor part from an AU then they just look in the AU site.

Still dont see the need nor the benefit of it myself, if you cant read what car a part is from and where it is with the current setup, how would you find a whole lot more forums any easier?

I think it would confuse a lot more people than it would assist.

No real point, would just have way to many sections if you wanted to split it up into subsections.

Not hard to have the item and location in title.
