Default Complience plate info

This probably seems like an obvious question but I have an NA fairlane which has a 4-speed auto and was built in 1990 so this makes it an NA II correct? The complience plate only says NA FAIRLANE did they ever say NA II, is there something else on the plates to indicate this?
