Default Fitting ef door handles to ea

Whats involved? is it str8 foward or do little mods need to be done?

Straight in no mods, have done it on my car, the setting of the rod to make the door open is a little bit of trial and error so make sure you are in the car when you shut the door with the window down, if it doesnt work then wind the window up re-adjust then test again.

Door trims off, remove the plastic or metal brackets that are in the way, and then unclip the rod from the handle, then 2 10mm nuts/bolts to undo.

Wicked thanks for the info lads, i was on ebay and saw some ef handles and the dood said will fit ea-ed with minor mods and i was thinking im sure its str8 in, lol

No probs matey, im going to the wreckers sunday to get some white ones so i can just fit them str8 on rather than having to get them painted, will post pics,

remember you need EF ones not EL ones......front at least

EL will only have the lock hole on the drivers front, not passenger front

You CAN use EL ones, I have, I just left the lock off the passenger side and removed the extra rods in the door, no big deal everything works just fine. Of course I do have remote central locking.
