Default replacing welsh plug on ef

i seem to have a coolant leak near back of motor on exhaust side which appears to be a welsh plug,are they hard to fit or should i give it to a mechanic to repair ???

Easy fix; pull out with a screw in slide hammer and replace new plug by hammering in with a socket (use hardening gasket goo sealant on the new one).
