BA BF C5 325mm Brake Kits cheap

As the heading says we have brake kits available for the BA and BF model vehicles which could also be fitted to AU11 AU111 and even FG.
The brake kits are the same size as was fitted to the BA GT fords with the C5 twin piston caliper and the 325mm x 32mm disc and the same front kit in the PBR PK kits for this model.

There are only a very limited amount of kits available (4 only)

First in first served thankyou

$1000 which are priced to go.
PBR Red C5 calipers with pads X 2
PBR Slotted 325mm discs X 2
Goodridge braided front lines X Pair

FYI-The calipers are new old stock and shop soiled which means they are still brand new but have minor marks and chips on them and they are red with the pbr logo on them. Hence the clearout prices as these kits are worth much more than these.

Wow that's great buying, I would love to get some of these, but would only be able to in the next couple of weeks and I'm sure they'd be gone by them, Fantastic price though!

Ive got my stock 17" xr wheels over mine although it didn't leave much room at all so not sure if its ok to use? But 18's would be an easy fit. And like toco said fantastic price with braided lines to boot!

They should fit but you can always bring a rim down and we can check.

Yeah I think i read BA MKII rims JUST fit.
I'm back to 17"s but Territory wheels now.
I have a spare rim kicking around .... so might drop around to Wetherill Park and check.

Awesome!! Im due for new discs and pads for my standard POS brakes, and these dont look much more expensive then what i was going to buy :)

Will give you a call in a week one i get the car back in the shed (mainly because im not sure how much its going to cost to get it back so i may need to wait for the next pay run before picking these up :P)

Cheers!

How would these compare on an fg xr6 upgraded to xr6t calipers with dba 4000 discs and bendix heavy duty pads in terms of cost and performance? Reason I ask is my local wrecker gave me a call and said he just got a set of calipers of an fg xr6t that I can get for a steal but would still need discs, pads and (possibly) lines.

I think the BA GT brakes are a better upgrade as the brakes are "stronger" as they are 325mm x 32mm compared to the XR6T which are 322mm x 28mm and the calipers in the BA GT kit are also a better caliper and for $1000 it is a steal.
As you need to buy rotors, pads and lines you will pay anywhere from $350 to $700 if using slotted rotors and depending on brand etc plus the cost of your second hand calipers you need to buy that may or may not need overhauling. The PBR front BA GT kit has all those parts but better quality with braided lines.
Either kit will improve your braking and that is the main benefit its just the BA GT kit will be a step over the FG XR6T kit.

As of today we only have one kit left.

Hi Matt,
I fitted these up on yesterday and bedded them in today - a signifigant improvement over what I had I must say.
Thanks for your help with these and your prompt delivery up to Brisbane - excellent service!

Hey, what's a good replacement pad? The PBR Performance pads work well, but are made from pepper. Excellent caliper too.

The Hawk ceramic pads are good and are lower in dust and will cost you $200 delivered

Hey Mate

Was wondering if you could help us out with some info.
Ive got a 2005 BA XR8 2 with the factory premium brakes.
Im Needing to replace the front rotors n pads and the rear pads.
Im interested in the DBA clubspec T2/3 4000 slotted rotors.
And im after a pad that will allow me to do some club/track days without devouring the disks, im not overly concerned about dust or brake noise.

Cheers Marco

Marco would you prefer more performance street than track?

marcosanga 02-08-2012 12:59 PM

Re: BA BF C5 325mm Brake Kits cheap

hey
well i suppose i need to be realistic about it.
will probably only do half a dozen or so events a year so yeah probably a performance street pad that wont melt for the odd 3 lap sprint or so..

cheers
