Do we have a shed expert on FF.au?
I am looking at a colourbond, freestanding, farm type shed. I need information regarding pitfalls of construction, types of materials, styles and costs for a shed that will need to house 3 cars, 2 trailers, a workshop, office and all the normal shed type stuff. I have seen a few that I think would suit the bill, but how and where do I go about getting the sucker installed? Thanks Guys Last edited by Toolman; 09-01-2005 at 06:33 PM. usually the folks that sell it to you have contractors that will do this. your quote should include this as well as all the council approval.

Oh, look at the shed in my user gallery.. Sorry. hehe.
As mentioned, where you buy the shed will usually take care of planning, surfacing & installing the shed & you'll get a price when you enquire. Pitfalls - usually a lot more to have trees removed cos they'll hire someone else to do that & add their share to the price so it's best if you have a suitable area. it doesn't have to be perfectly level as they'll level it with a bob cat. |
