Default 5 speed for 79 Cortina 2 litre

what is the easiest and cheapest option to put a 5 speed in my 2 litre cortina?
any ideas?

The Sierra box will fit virtually straight in.

You can also fit Supra alloy case or Celica steel case boxes in with a bit of fiddling to the gearbox crossmember and tailshaft and clutch. Of course you also need a bellhousing and speedo cable. All parts are available through Dellow Automotive in Sydney.
