Default Find where the annoying sound is coming from

Hi all,

My name is Bill for of all of you which is the majority who don't know me.

Ok i have an exhaust question also, but the thing is i'm not looking to do mods. I have had this weird noise coming somewhere from my car and i could always hear it backing out of my driveway clearly since its so tight. Today I started it to see how its running and noticed it was coming from the first muffler. Middle one is fine and the lust has generated a small rust patch. So sooner or later i am going to have to fix this problem.

Now the thing is i have heard quite a few eb to el's which have a deep grunt to it, and you can only hear it on take off and can only distintly tell when they are booting it. I am curious, is this sound because one of the mufflers has been ripped out. If so, which one is it that i should just replace with piping. Since i have to fix it and like the tone, if this is the solution i may as well do it now.

Anyway, thanks for your thoughts in advance.
Bill.

Dont replace a muffler with piping. I did it on my EL XR6. Sounding insane at WOT but at normal driving it sounds rice. It was reaaaally barky. I put a whole stock system back on including cat and i like it
