happens all the time to the 6 stackers. They jam up , i was quoted 350 to get mine repaired. Get your $100 back.

Never had any problems with my series1 Premium S/System. Is this problem mainly confined to the in dash 6 stacker fitted to the S2/3 models as the 2 S2 fairmont ghias at work had the jamming problem.

I have just the standard sound system in the car and the CD player accepts the CD but when you try and play it, The Cd player just spits it back out. Mainly happens to burnt CD's but also to CD'S I have bought. It is extreamly frustrating. The CD;s are good and work first time in every other cd player

Iv never had that problem with the stocko au2 player it works like a charm on my burnt very scratched cds. What are the premium units worth (when they work) ?

I returned that one not sure if its worth trying another as they sound like they brake very easly.

Good idea carsik didn't think of that. I didn't want to replace my stock unit unless it was another ford one and don't wanna pay big bucks for an aftermarket player that only takes mp3 cds.

Im guessing they wouldnt be hard to tune into the unit, I might keep an eye out for a prestige sound even though I don't want a tape player :/

If your brother works at ford get him to put it through another car as a warranty job. Did I just say that out loud?

Ill think ill just stick to the single stacker even if i got it repaired who knows how long till it stops working again. Money better spent on the engine i say! Leaves me with enough cash now to get a port n polish done
