I doubt it, there is zero market for them outside of the US, Amarok is a big as South America needs ( where they build them). European vans seem to be where this deal is at, but with ranger engines being euro van based, it could effect it in the next generation.

The ecoblue is a brand new engine design. There is a significant return on investment required for that. And if anything it will survive until the point where diesels are banned all over the place and it's unviable to make diesels anymore. Probably the last clean sheet diesel Ford will ever make I think.

There doesnt have to be market outside the US, the US fullsize pickup market is larger than our combined passenger market.

2. Transit and Transporter.

Those two commercial vans and passenger van groups will be a big project
with lots of potential savings for both companies, also an opportunity for
both to lock in big, long term contracts with suppliers at super low prices.

It's also a great opportunity to share development costs on things lie hybrid
and full electric vans, significantly reducing costs while making the projects
commercially viable thanks to partnering.

Mitsubishi also make brush cutter engines . In 1994 I bought a commercial brushcutter with a 33cc
mitsubishi motor on it when i started my small business at the time . It was a Jonsered machine . Twenty four years on , it still starts within 2-3 pulls from cold , the two stage carby has never failed , the throttle linkage never broken and it's done a power of work too.Almost every time we have a regular working bee at the golf club she's there too. Jonsered are tied in with Husqvarna these days and in the 90's they used Mistubishi engines for some of their commercial products.

Now co development happens all over the place ..The new 10 speed autos in Ford and Chevrolet stuff is another example I think .

Same experience as you. Hardly had any warranty claims and no major repairs in our family over 15 years with their cars. They are pretty bullet proof but have nothing these days that are exciting.

As it turned out, a well-known British manufacturer took over the aircraft factory.

As it was, Australia, with its British heritage, connections and family ties, got dumped with lots of pre-war English ‘rubbish’.

Australia made VW Beetles and Van and ute here once you know.
The VW had a very good ride on crappy roads that we had back then even todays speed bumps are nothing for them to float over as fast as you like.
