Looks great. At least this way you can't be accused of trying to be a T series - it uses eleemnts from that car, but is different from the top of the front bar up. I reckon AWC will be on to this like honeys to a bee. Oops, bees to honey.

i think it looks great. Even if the series 2/3 bonnet looks a little better i think you will find most series 1 owners will settle for this front bar due to the cost of a new high series bonnet. It looks very nice i think ;)
p.s. I like the red one the best rob

You can get a Brand new S2/3 Bonnet for $450ish. Then it just needs to painted. They aren't that costly.

I like it AWC should get this one up and going.

The old AUI could have been good after all even with the low series bonnet!

hahaha
i agree... if i dont say so my self!

you can get a bonnet for $450.. but then you need to get it painted!!!!!!!!
and then you need to get the bar painted... side skirts, rear bar, wing painted too!!
that is the part that is shitting me the most! it is going to cost heaps, and take AGES to get it done i reckon!!

then i am getting the bonnet with the bulge also.. so that is another thing.. i might get it all painted at the same time to stop any color mis matching!

PHEW... i got all that out in one breath!

AWC is already making one up for me ... in their spare time.
I am getting it for the AU II ute (all utes have low-series bonnet) and keeping my factory colour coded ute grille.

All they are doing is modifying it be chopping the grille out and making it neat to slide under the factory grille.

I'll get pics when it is completed.

I like it. The low-series bonnet works better on any AU!

ok looks good

and as Mechan1k said we will be doing it, however if your worried about spending $450ish on AU2 bonnet plus paint and then buying the bulge bonnet again later then just splurge the $800ish on xr lights and get the XR50 bar, done
