hey guys i just found a 11/1998 Genuine XR8 Manual GENUINE XR8 280KW 5 SPEED MANUAL THIS CAR HAS BEEN SITTING IN THE GARAGE FOR THE LAST 12 MONTHS . HAS SMALL SCRAPE ON PASSENGER SIDE. AND TARE ON BACK SEAT. DONE 193000ks HAS KENWOOD STEREO, CD STACKER 2 AMPS 2 subs Buyer to supply rwc its had a new computer chip put in, a new full exhaust system, plus headers, heads flowed and balanced, high rachio pistons, dyno-charted at 275kw 12 months ago but its been sitting in the garage for 11 - 12 months, doing nothing iv talked him into 6.5k just wondering wat you guys think

yea thats wat i though i needa go have a look at it it looks like the driver side mirrer is taped up to so i dunno i will needa take sum1 who can pick wats wrong wit it wit me

get it checked out by RACV.
6.5k for that car with that many Kw sounds a little sus. something has to be fairly wrong with it. youd be hard pressed to find a STOCK one for that price. |

274kw = not impossible. but unlikely, unless i see pictures of the engine bay. |

it would want to be a cammed 347 stroker..... or blown, to have the power that is being claimed here....
as has been mentioned earlier, not out of the question, but unlikley for the price being asked |

I have seen that car for sale some where on the net but can't remember where
I recall it because of the bonnet scoop........... Love the colour..............
