Default Ford Predator Photos

While we were down at the Ford Discovery Centre, we were happy to see the Ford Predator prototype sitting out the back, usually out on display, locked up and engine bay covered this was a good chance to get some good shots.

so opened up it was

we were also informed the car may soon be for sale.

anywhere, all the pics i got are here:

That looks mean! a body kit would suit it nicely,
It's got its greats and its not so greats though... yellow tint...yucko :P

The carbon fibre and braided lines in the engine bay look mad! Wouldnt mind that interior too.

Twin exhausts look mean too...could they get away with twin 2.5" pipes cozz its supercharged?
Or would it just be 2.25"-ers?

* Twin 2 1/4" pipes.
* HPC coated Genie Extractors.
* Twin 3" catalytic converters.
* Dual 3 1/2" tail pipes into 4" chrome tips each side.

Does anyone know if anything was done with the ignition system in this? eg. was it chipped or mapped differently by ford?

still have the motor mag with its feature in it somewhere , absoulutly insane bit of gear , with the tuning I dare say they would of used a chip ,they could write eecv to what they need

gotta love that comment about needing manual ,interior and body kit.
nearly made me fall of me chair

yum yum!

i've got an A2 poster (I think it's A2? might only be A3...) of the Predator (and the XR8 sequential). They're both double sided, with specs on the opposite sides. Might have to scan them bit by bit one day? :dr_Evil:

the body paint still looks mint but the car as a whole looks a bit dated I reckon. could be the tiger mica'ish paint and the carbon fibre. The thing needs a good clean, some lower springs (or wind down the coil-overs if it has em??), a different set of rims and some clear indicators on the back. And **** off all that ugly *** carbon fibre for polished alloy or painted steel!

That Predator is a stunning looking car. That grille looks awesome, and really toughens up the GLi front. I love the gold paint, and the rims still look nice after all these years.

I reckon it looks a bit old-school these days.

I knew it was LPG, but never realised it was supercharged. I wonder how much it could be sold for.
